Edwardian era Stoneware Lustre Pottery Jug Set w/ Tea Tray Pewter Top
#AD313 Antique Jug Set circa 1910
This lovely old English Edwardian era stoneware jug set with a beautiful tea tray is decorated in deep gold luster / luster with bright blue. We do not know the maker, but it has a numbering system on bottom marks. any help appreciated.
It is a 3 piece set, found in Devon, England recently:
1. Larger jug with pewter top, 6 inches high
2. Smaller cream jug with no top, 5 inches high
3. Round tea tray, 6 inches in diameter
Condition is clean on all, see photos.
A beautiful and unusual set we were very happy to find. As WW1 approached, these pewter top jugs were no more, as the metal was need for war production. Be sure to see other stoneware pieces on our site.
Sizes: see above in description
