This is a beautiful contemporary English patent ironstone 6.5" cake plate made by Emma Bridgewater, who began her pottery business in 1985 in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

It features a black rooster in centre and hens around the edge and is one of her earlier designs. Condition is beautiful, click images to see condition in very close up and movable views. It was found in Kingsbridge, Devon, England.
