This is a beautiful small and graphic souvenir piece from Burnham in the county of Somerset from the 1890's Queen Victoria era mug, cup or coffee can. It features a scene of the town, with the text "Royal Parade Burnham Somerset " It would have been carried home in Victorian times as a souvenir of a rail visit, no doubt.
Condition is beautiful with some worn gold gilt trim, from holding in hands. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. A beautiful old memento of a special Somerset visit. In 1917 Burnham officially became Burnham-On-Sea.
