1860 CDV Album w photos-Wellington Bookbinder/seller Label-found Devon

  • £0.00

This is an old 19th century CDV photo album with 19 photos and some illegible handwriting, to me, found in the Southwest in Ashburton, Devon. The CDV's are from Tiverton, Exeter, Dorset, some with photographers, some not. None have names I could see.

The first page has an auld lang syne CDV album filler with handwritten text that I cannot read. The binding is rough, needs gluing. It came from Cutler Stationer & Binder in Wellington and there is a nice clean book binder label in front, see photo.

It has 19 CDV's, some with studio backmarks of Exeter, Tiverton, Knightsbridge, Wellingron, Somerset and some with no marks.

See the photo of last page for ripped page, binding loose, needs some tender loving care. Sold just as is, a sweet old Victorian genealogy piece.
