This is a beautiful blue 6 inch English pottery Staffordshire figure found in Devon, England. Condition is clean, no chips, cracks or repairs. He has the typical Staffordshire soot and firing imperfections, but a clean white appearance. He is holding a jug or a barrel wearing a cobalt blue jacket, pink trousers and a tipped hat. He has rosy red cheeks. He measures 6 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide at the widest point, which is across his waist. A beautiful old original children's related figural piece.
