1837-1897 Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee Brass Medal 60th Year Reign
#AD131: Antique Queen Victoria Jubilee Brass Medal 1897
This is a wonderful original 1897 solid brass commemorative medallion to celebrate the 60 year reign of Victoria, the beloved Queen of England from 1837-1901. This medal was made was 4 years before her death in 1901. Victoria (her true name was Alexandria Victoria 1819-1901) was Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until her death in 1901, a reign of 64 years. In 1876, she adopted the additional title of Empress of India.

This is a beautiful royal antique piece and in excellent original condition, with a beautiful old soft brass patina and a vignette of the Queen, as well as Royal armorial Victorian decorative touches. It was found in Dartford, Kent, England, about 20 miles southeast of Central London. Would be great on an old ribbon.
