This was a commemorative medal issued in 1911 to celebrate the highly exalted coronation of King George V. This was the day that George V and Mary of Teck became King and Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Empire at Westminster Abbey in London on 22 June, 1911. This piece can hang on a chain around your neck. It was found in Exeter, Devon, England. Click images to see condition in close up views. A beautiful original detailed piece.
