A beautiful and unusual Victorian 1860-1890’s small 2” ironstone transferware Pot Lid base for W. Winter Perfumer Company which was located at 205 Oxford Street, in London, England. There is beautiful graphics and vintage fonts, scrolls.
The transferware black Victorian lettering on this old perfume piece reads “W. Winter, Perfumer, 205 Oxford St”, known to be London.
The base is also incised with the number “2”, see pics. It has a chip on the bottom base rim, see photos. You can see the dark brown stoneware of the piece where chip is. See photos for full condition. other than this chip, there are mild firing cracks and discolourations, see photos.
